General InformationThe original house was designed and built in 1991 by its owner and local builders. It has R-41 walls and ceilings. It incorporates 12'' exterior walls and excellent use of southern exposure for sunlight and heating. A 2002 addition was designed by the present owner with the help of John Starr, of Starr Construction, Inc. The addition houses a 12' x 7' ''endless'' swimming pool. It incorporates direct solar heating, radiant floor heating, foam insulation, heat recovery ventilation; and solar hot water and photovoltaic systems engineered by Dorothy Wolfe and installed by Global Resource Options, LLC.

Directions to PropertyTake I-93 north to exit 38. Turn right at the end of the ramp and go about 1.2 miles up the hill, - swing left onto Oaks Rd. Take Oaks Rd. about 0.4 miles to the driveway on the left marked ''The Cooks''. There is room for about 4 cars by the house (with turn-around space), otherwise, please park on the road and walk down the drive.
