General InformationSuper-insulated home R-28 walls, R-60 attic. Heated with EPA-certified woodstove, uses 2.5 chords of wood per year. Roof overhang on south side of home allows sun in winter, shade in summer.
Solar photovoltaic (PV) system sits on racks that are adjustable to follow the sun with the seasons, and were designed and installed by the owner. PV system consists of 27 Sharpe panels, 175 Watts each. Fronius 5.0 IG Plus inverter.

Special ConsiderationsThe parking area is a little small. You're welcome to drive in, but some people might prefer to park on the road and walk the very short distance down the drive. Enter by the door that faces the road.
Directions to PropertyRte I-89. Exit 4 from the south, Exit 5 from the North. Go in to Hopkinton village. Once in the village turn adjacent to the Cracker Barrel Store on to South Road. Go 1.6 miles. Our house is on the right, set back in the woods a bit off the road.
