Custom built 4000 square foot passive solar home set on 26 southward facing acres. Hybrid Post and Beam construction with 10" Swedish Cope log siding on the exterior.

Features

This classic craftsman style home blends hybrid post and beam technology with a traditional log exterior. This open concept floorplan heats easily during the winter months and large gable overhangs keep out the summer sun. The passive solar design and house orientation can easily be upgraded to PV and solar hot water. This home achieved a HERS rating of 61 thus categorizing it as a Energy Star 5+.
