Board Member Bio

NHSEA board members biographies are provided for those members who are up for election.

Pablo Fleischmann

I moved to Gilsum in 1983, living close to the land and reading by candlelight. Labor Day 1989, I hooked up our first pair of solar panels to power a few lights. Having since upgraded to a ÒwhoppingÓ 380 watts, my family of five has shown that it is possible to keep household energy loads to a minimum.

I have participated on community boards since the mid-eighties. Among my current affiliations: Conservation Commission Chair since 1995; Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee, since 1996 (currently Vice-Chair). I also helped found, and continue membership on the Board of Directors of The Sustainability Project, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit that promotes a humanistic approach to environmentalism and maintains a wheelchair accessible outdoor education center.

In 2007, with the ongoing support of my family, I opened Green Energy Options/GEO Solar Store, a Keene retail store that provides a place for the public to come, learnÑand purchaseÑitems to help lessen their impact on the planet.

My years of interacting with State agencies has given me an understanding as to how the system works (or doesn't). My goal is to keep people talking and moving in the direction of a sane energy future.

My two years on the NHSEA Board have been educational and I feel my presence helps with the overall balance of the BoardÑboth professionally and personally. I look forward to rising to the occasion of helping NHSEA continue to be a driving force in NH's energy future.
